Barcelona by motorhome: what to see in 1, 2 and 3 days
The best way to visit Barcelona with a motorhome is to leave it somewhere safe and get around by metro. These routes start each morning at the metro station.

First, where to leave the motorhome
Parking a motorhome inside Barcelona is difficult, and sleeping in it on the street is not allowed. The practical option is to choose a place with public transport nearby and forget about the vehicle while you visit.

Barcelona in 1 day
- Sagrada Família (metro L2 and L5, Sagrada Família). Buy your ticket in advance and go first thing in the morning.
- Passeig de Gràcia: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, within walking distance (metro Passeig de Gràcia or Diagonal).
- Gothic Quarter and La Rambla: the cathedral, Plaça del Rei and the Boqueria market (metro Liceu or Jaume I).
- Barceloneta at sunset, for a walk by the sea (metro Barceloneta).
Barcelona in 2 days
On the first day, follow the route above. On the second:
- Park Güell in the morning (metro Vallcarca or Lesseps, then a walk uphill). The monumental area needs a timed ticket.
- El Born and Ciutadella Park (metro Jaume I or Arc de Triomf).
- Montjuïc in the afternoon: the funicular from Paral·lel, the gardens and the views over the port.
Barcelona in 3 days
If you have a third day, choose whatever you like best:
- Camp Nou and the Les Corts neighbourhood (metro Palau Reial, Les Corts or Collblanc).
- Gràcia: squares, outdoor cafés and small shops (metro Fontana or Diagonal).
- A day at the beach: Barceloneta, Nova Icària or, if you’re sleeping outside the city, the beaches of Castelldefels, Gavà or the Maresme.
Getting around
The Barcelona metro reaches almost everything you’ll want to see. For several days, a multi-journey card usually works out cheaper than single tickets. The L9 Sud airport stations have their own ticket.
If you’re sleeping outside the city, check each place’s page for how to get to the centre: some aires have a train or bus nearby, and one has a shuttle to the station.
